Day 1 in Mazatlan

Ever since we got back from MX things have been crazy busy. A few of my girlfriends have asked when I was going to get back to blogging? I was actually surprised to hear that I had "blog-stalkers"!!! So to all 2 of my followers! lol! I'm back!!!

Mazatlan was wonderful as expected... We initially were a little bummed as the weather report had said to expect rain and thunderstorms. However when we finally got off our 18 hour bus ride and stepped on to Mexican soil... It was perfect weather! The cab driver who drove us to our hotel laughed when we asked if there had been any rain! Also turns out our cab driver had been an old friend of Oscar's oldest brother! They had grown up together an attended the same school! What a small world! Especially considering Mazatlan is a huge city!

After settling in our hotel we took a stroll down the beach and picked up some lunch at a little taqueria. Later that day Oscar's family met up with us and we all hung out together at the beach and reminisced about our last visit... We also finally got to meet the newest member of the Contreras family... Valerie... (Oscar's niece's daughter & Luis-Angel's little sister) Mia and her became instant buddies... At least Mia thought so... After Mia dropped her a few times I noticed Valerie began to keep her distance!
