"Happy "Blog-aversary" to me!"

This past Friday, February the 25th marked my 1 year anniversary...er uh blog-aversary! I really didn't think I would be able to keep up... but... 46 posts later and I'm still happy to be blogging! I really enjoy being able to look back at past posts and reminisce. It's also exciting to know that one day my kids will be able to have story's to read and re-live... With out the help of my blog would I really remember that on March 2nd 2010 Mataya went to school and joked about having "guns"! Or what about May 2010 when Mia was at church singing "My princess pea"! With a memory like mine it's good to know my blog will keep our memories living on! ;o)

"Love of my life"

Did I ever mention how much I love my Hubby? Yes I am sooooo in love with my man! To think our story began back in the 10th grade... 2 crazy young kids with only 1 thing on our minds! Never in a million years would I have imagined we would be were we are today! Happy & healthy... 2 beautiful girls... Living for God and oh so in love! The list truly could go on and on! I give my Jesus all the credit! With out him none of it would have be possible!

So last night in celebration of V-day my sweetie made me and the girls a delicious home cooked dinner! The menu included T-bone steak, stuffed mushrooms, mashed potatoes and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert! After dinner Oscar and I watched "Dear John" which I loved! What a perfect way to spend Valentines day with the one I love!

Oscar in action! It took him almost 2 hours to prepare everything!

Stuffed portobello mushrooms! My favorite! Definitely worth the wait!

What more could a girl ask for!

Mia's 7th Birthday

Every year I throw my girls a Birthday party... Call it spoiled but I don't care! Birthdays take place only 1X a year and plus I only have 2 kids! ;o) This year Mia celebrated her 7th B-day cosmic bowling! Fun! Fun! Fun!

Mia's friend Abigail had a little trouble getting her ball all the way down the lane!

Mia and her buddie Anthony... Did I mention he was the only boy she wanted to invite to her party! I talked her into inviting her boy cousins...

Everyone Mia invited made it! How cool is that! Mia was so glad to finally hang out with her friends Gracie & Myra.
